Hello,
I had hysterectomy in dec 2003. Since then lots of things have changed. I feel much better since then, but the sexual life…. Before hysterectomy I had painful sexual intercourse, now it is much better. But my complaint is orgasm …it is not so intense anymore and this is really bothering me. Is anyone experiencing the same effects as I do?

Hey there,
I have the same signs as you do. Sex is no more painful, but orgasm is so mild and I lots of times fail to lubricate… This is very frustrating to me. I talked to doctor and she said it is because of vagina was shortened due to a surgery. Also hysterectomy is called surgical menopause, that is why we experience severe drop of hormones. This is very unnatural, and the younger the woman, the grater the drop of hormones. And these hormones …huh…I never realized before they have such a big impact on my body.
I was prescribed with lubricants and testosterone replacement and it is better… talk to your doctor, maybe it’ll also have an impact on you.
