Both females and males aged 15 to 19 in the USA report having oral sex. The prevalence of oral sex among teenagers, particularly girls, and increase in lesbian activity among young women is surprising. Oral sex is becoming more and more popular and in most cases it is not considered to be sex. Most teenagers who had performed an oral but haven’t had an intercourse consider themselves virgins.
As they are raised in the society where it is so much talked about HIV and sexually transmitted diseases, teenagers see oral sex as an alternative and a good way to postpone the intercourse.
Analysts report that young people most likely to have oral sex are white children from families with above-average incomes and education, most of them being 18 and 19 year-olds.
About 4 per cent of men and women described themselves as homosexual. About 1 per cent of men and 3 per cent of women had both female and male sexual partners in the previous 12 months.
The number of schoolgirls having one night stands equals that of boys. From a survey of 12,571 people aged 15 to 44, we got the results that show that men aged 30 to 44 had an average of six to eight sexual partners while women had four. |
