A new study found that teens who listen to music with sexual lyrics are more likely to start with sex sooner than their peers who listen to other kinds of music and other songs. These kids and their behavior are influenced by the lyrics and their messages and most of the hip-hop, rap, pop and rock songs have sexual overtones.

Songs that praise open sex and sexual acts will easily trigger early sexual behavior unlike those songs that praise committed relationships, honesty and trust. Fifty one percent of teens who listen to sexually degrading stuff engaged in sexual acts within two years versus twenty nine percent of those who listen to little or no sexually degrading music.

Researchers feel that teens who listen to sex degrading music think less about their acts and often make decisions that will later regret. Although most kids like the beats in these songs and not the lyrics, they don’t even realize that the message is being beaten into their heads and memory.

Certain men from the sex degrading music business reply to these findings that the music and the explicit lyrics are only reflecting what is really going on out there, that it is reflecting social and economic realities and not creating them.

This study is targetting music when there is sexually degrading content in movies, books, pictures and whatever else you can think of. We don't live in a perfect world and never will we. Music definitley has a greater meaning then just sex. Music dosen't trigger sexual behavior, your hormones do. Wink Especially in your teen years.
