Hi. I can`t explain really well how I feel. I feel very hungry, so hungry I start shaking. I feel dizzy sometimes. I usually take a candy bar, when I have this hunger attack. Then I feel so much better. A friend of mine told me my shakes are related to hypoglycemia. Is that true?

Hi. Shakes are related to hypoglycemia. I have low blood sugar and I know all about hypoglycemia. Shakes are one of hypoglycemia symptoms. The other symptoms of hypoglycemia include dizziness, difficulty speaking, confusion, hunger, feeling weak and anxious. It is quite common actually to experience shakes related to hypoglycemia. I am on the treatment all the time. I have to eat small meals every three hours and I have to exercise regularly. The good thing is you can eat anything, including meat, fish, starchy foods, fruits and veggies and dairy products. I have to eat high fiber foods and avoid candies. But I cannot avoid candies all the time…
