Hi, I am feeling sharp pain in the anal area. I avoid defecation as it hurts me a lot. So, I suffer from sever constipation as well. Is it sign of colon cancer?

Hi, you must be very scared when you are thinking of cancer. It doesn’t necessarily mean that you have a cancer. It can be some infection or anal bleeding. Try to take some pain killer to be able to defecate and preserve yourself from further suffering. Some polyps can also be developing in anal region, so you need to check for this option too. Avoid heavy food and intake a lot of fluid. I suffer from irritable bowel syndrome so, I have learned to pay strict attention to what am I eating, and it’s not really that difficult as it seems on first look.
