Sharp stomach pain after drinking high proof alchohol

I am 18 and havent used alchol much in my lifetime. But the times I did I drank high proof drinks such as vodka. Sometimes I dont get them but usually after drinking this I get this horrible sharp pain in my stomach. It feels like a stomach cramp but much more specific pain area. Does anyone know why this happends? Can I do something to prevent this from happening?

Hey, I guess you are mixing the high-proof alcohol with carbonated drinks (coca cola, fanta, pepsi, 7up, etc.) - that might be causing it.

Try getting high-proof drinks with fruit juices or yogurt drinks.
Also sometimes club soda or tonic are not causing this effect.

But better see a doctor, you might be having gastritis.
