| Hello, my mom has been suffering from schizophrenia for quite some time. These days, she feels even worse, I think she had another episode, she is aggressive, miserable. Although she has her therapy, should I be giving her diazepam? Would that give her some additional help? I just want to help her somehow... |

| Well, if she is very agitated, you can give her diazepam, as some sort of emergency help. Still, it looks like her initial therapy is not that effective as before, so that should be an alarm for you. Take her to the doctor and consult him about changing the treatment. It is much better option than giving her meds on your own. |
