I am just wondering should I reduce chloramphenicol level. I got this drug as a treatment for some special bacteria. I am now feeling OK and think that I dont need this medication any more. Also, the thing that made me worry is some bone marrow problems my doctor noticed on my last check up.

I think that you need to discus this issue with your doctor. It is not smart to start or stop taking any medications without consulting. Person who prescribes this drug to you knows how long and why you should take this medication. Chloramphenicol is not dangerous drug if used properly. Talk to your doctor.
