Few years ago I was diagnosed with asthma. I was prescribed with Flixotide, which I have been taking ever since. Now my doctor thinks that I should be switch to Singulair. What do you think? Have you tried this Singulair stuff? Is it better than Flixotide? What should I do, should I switch form flixotide to singulair?

I think that you need to accept your doctors opinion. I just can tell you that those two are completely different medications. Flixotide is corticosteroid. It is used to treat persistent asthma in adults. Singulair is leukotriene receptor antagonist, leukotrene is substance that is made in people with asthma and is responsible for their breathing problems. It is used for prevention and long term treatment of asthma.
