Sickness Throwing off Aunt Flow

I've found out that I'm experiencing a case of Food Poisoning from chinese food I ate last night (Thursday Night)..
Feels like my body is trying to get rid of something.
Can that be what's throwing off my menstruation schedule?
My body is trying to clean itself out before I menstruate?
Has anyone else had this?
I'm very confused.
The only symptoms of my period that I'm having is severe back pain and that menstrual blood smell coming off of the pad (just in case it comes unexpectedly.)
