Side effects of Recephin

My Mom received a shot of Recephin for an ongoing bout with a nagging cough and bronchial virus. Since then, she has had major stomach issues. Is this a side effect of Recephin?

Yes, gastrointestinal issues are reported side effects of this drug. If she is still taking it, she should ask her doctor if there is something else that she can take. Of course, I hope that she is recovered by now. Please let me know how things turned out and if she remained on the med. If so, how bad did the stomach problems get, and how long did it take them to clear up after she stopped taking it.
