Hello! My friend has an eating disorder. She is extremely thin and I can’t remember I have seen her eating anything with us recently. We often go to have some ice cream or cake at the candy shop near our school but she never goes with us. I heard that eating disorder can harm the person’s health very much. What are side effects of eating disorder?

Hello! Side effects of eating disorders such as bulimia and anorexia could be fatal. Most people with anorexia and bulimia are feeling unwell. Common side effects of eating disorders are kidney problems, stomach problems, teeth problems, malnutrition and distorted nutrition balance. Psychiatric side effects can be alcoholism, drug abuse and suicide. Many patients died within because of suicide, infections, stomach problems or malnutrition.
