For over 30 years I have had to walk on pins and needles.
I never know what will set off my strange sinus condition.
It started way back when I was working in a bar.
I got strept throat one time, and an old doctor used a swab (Q-Tip) that had something brown on it.
May have nothing to do with my problem, but thought I would add it.
It worked, but from that point on, I have had strange sinus problems.
I never know when it will trigger.
If I yell, sing, or do anything that puts pressure on my sinuses...It goes off!
I sometime can feel it coming, so I am afraid to even breath heavy at that time.
Other times it just hits me for no reason.
When it clicks, I have an accute sense of smell, and everything STINKS .
There is also an acid taste in my mouth .
I have found that by standing on my head and kinda blowing my nose at the same time clears it up. Strange ha?
At times loud noises will set it off, sometimes it's just the smell of smoke, or some other strong smell.
It it totally messing up my life....Any ideas?
After 30 years, I need some help here. :<
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Rick |

im not laughing but i am...
exactly the same thing happens to me.
Ive just been looking on here and few other people have similar things happen to them.
when you say stand on your head and it goes, that is what i use to do about 6 years ago, but now im ammune to that. i use to hang off the bed with my head on the floor, that use to help.
everything tastes and smells horrid. when you dont have it, you feel on top of the world, and as soon as it clicks and is set off, its horrible.
i find that coke tastes flat, beer tastes stale, wine tastes of vinegar, cigarettes smell absolutely disgusting and taste like poos.
i wish i knew what it was. doctors dont know, and they dont seem to care. someone mentioned acupuncture so i might look into that.
if i have a cold, i tend to not have it, only because i am blocked up.
yawning lots use to help too, but i think i am ammune to all the little tricks now and its here to stay. is this what its gonna be like forever? sometimes i think that one day its gonna go.
how you coping?
sucks dont it :O( |
