Skin Growth outside of vagina

Help!!!! I have not had sex in a year and have NEVER had a STD. I noticed a small bump type thing outside of my vagina before my thigh. It's in the crease. It is now about an inch long and it seems to be skin. It's doesn't hurt or ooze anything but It seems as if it may have spread. Does this sound like a sign of cancer??? I want to make an appointment with my doctor but am scared of the results!
