Can you tell me something about my husband’s ALS. Sleep problems in ALS is what has been bothering him for last couple of weeks. It seems that he is loosing muscle control slowly and it is somehow affecting his sleep. He is 50 years old and an ALS patient for 6 moths now.

You know that during sleep, we tend to change position and stretch from time to time. It seems that your husband’s lessened muscle control is not allowing him to do that. He must attend his physical therapies, so that he could maintain his muscles’ strength, for as long as possible. Not only for sleep, but for overall maintenance of normal life.
