| Hi, for the past few years, I'm not exactly sure how long it's been... I've had this small (about .5cm in diameter) ring on the base of the shaft of my penis on the left side. It's kind of as if the skin grew over another part to the left, and you could actually lift up the flap of skin a tiny bit. I hoped it would go away, but it seems that it is still there. It isn't painful, it isn't really discolored or anything. It basically just looks like a small circle. Now, recently, I've noticed another one to the left of it about 1 cm to the left, though this one is much smaller. It wasn't there before. Though it doesn't cause me any discomfort, I'm quite worried. I'm almost positive that the first one happened back when I'd only ever had intercourse with one girl, and she had been a virgin before we met. I don't think it could be an STD since it's been there for years, and at first I thought it might even just be a scar from something. Now I'm not sure if it could be skin cancer, a wart, or what... but I know that there is another small circle that seems to be of the same type. Could it be a fungus? I don't want to go to the doctor about this unless it's absolutely necessary, but I'm quite worried. I've taken 2 pictures that show quite precisely what it looks like, though I didn't figure it would be a good idea to post them here. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Also, I suppose it should be noted that I'm only 20 years old. I've searched the net for these symptoms, and haven't come up with anything that sounds similar to this. |
