Small white spots between anus and vagina

about three weeks ago i discovered a spot on my anus and now there are about five more on the skin between my anus and my vagina, they are not particularly itchy or uncomfortable, they are small and white or red but i do not know where they have come from-admittedly my boyfriend and i do not use a condom but we have been together for over nine months and the spots have just appeared, also he has none on his penis so is it genital warts or could it be something else?!
