Researcher did a study on curing hangovers and found drugs not to be effective.
The most common hangover symptoms like headache, nausea, vomiting, red eye, tremor, thirst, diarrhea, dizziness, fatigue, depressed, poor memory cannot be cured by complementary and allopathic medicines. The results are gathered from eight clinical trials done on this topic.
However, some complementary remedies managed to lessen the symptoms.

Complementary and allopathic medicines have no cure in reducing hangovers which occur after alcohol consumption. Tolfenamic acid caused less symptoms of headache, nausea, vomiting and thirst. Sugar, succinnic acid, fumaric acid, L-glutamine, herbs, charcoal, calcium carbonate, vitamins and minerals have been also found to be effective.

There’s a saying that especially replies to such situations and it goes like this: “One nail drives out another”-meaning that you should drink the same drink you had the night before in order to get rid of that nasty headache.

It may sound repulsive but it works.
