Soar throat only on one side and soarness in the mouth

For about a week I had soarness in my mouth on the right side, then a few days ago I got a soar throat on the same side. It hurts so bad to swallow and to even talk sometimes. What could this be? My gland feels a bit swallon too, hurts to touch it on the outside.

I hate this and I seem to get it all the time. I have a soar first in my mouth, then the throat/lympnode get soar. (It hurts to touch the gland area on the outside.) I have been using Kanka, an over the counter as well as Peroxyl rinse which help temporarily. I am trying to go see a dr. in the next couple of days b/c it is intense pain and discomfort.
It's most likely a viral thing and the drainage causes lymph nodes swelling?
