Hi, two days ago I got a cold of some kind, my throat is soar, my nose is runny I have a headache and I have a temperature of 38.2 °C. I know its probably nothing serious, is there any kind of a medication that can help to allay the symptoms so I can be up on my feet as soon as possible?

Yes it’s probably just a viral infection and it will go away as quickly as it came, the temperature and the fever is normal, it’s the sign that your body is trying to fight off the infection. I would advise drinking a lot of fluids like herbal tea, lots of fruit and vegetables with vitamin C, you could also take some vitamin pills that you can find in every drugstore. If the fever goes above 39 °C you should take paracetamol. There are also many products on the market against the flu symptoms, any of them will do, since all of them are a combination of paracetamol, aspirin and different vitamins. If the fever isn’t gone within 3-4 days you should visit your doctor and ask for treatment
