Ok, im not sure where to start with this. I tried to find the correct topic to post this in too, as I dont know for sure if im pregnant or not yet but i'll explain this the best i can.
My fiance is older than i am he's 43 and I'm 27. We love eachother more than anything, and have been living happily together for 6 months now. When he met my side of the family, my grandmother didnt like him at all (which was devistating to him) and my mom didnt like him. They said that because of his age, if him and i had babies (which is what we're trying to do) they would be deformed or have health problems.
I am 27 (like i said before) and only started my period when i was 15, almost 16 years old. I heard that you have a certain amount of eggs, and that if you start your cycle later you are fertile till later, and the baby will only be affected (in this sense) if the woman is a lot older.
My fiance was so upset by what my grandmother and my mother said, that we called nurses on call and asked them, stated our ages and told them the situation. They said that because of how late i started my cycle, and being that he's not actually ancient, we can have very healthy babies. I hope this is true because i want to be with this man for the rest of my life, we want to have children together. |

| There is a very good chance that you both could have a healthy baby....Age doesnt really matter, Im 23 and my mom was like 35 and my dad was in his 50s, four years later my brother was born..I know this may be strange but my mom wasnt suppose to be able to have children thats why they were alot older when they had us.....We turned out just fine, I bet anything they just told you that so you wouldnt stay with him, due to the age matter.....If you and him are happy together then that should be all that would matter....Wish you both the very best in life...... |
