Some swelling and soreness in right testis and abdomen

I'm 25 years old, average build, healthy male.
I had diarrhea for a few days and I took an Imodium to cure it.
Then I felt some pain(it felt somewhat worse when standing up) in the abdomen the next day(on the right side about half way between the groin and the belly button). That day I was also suffering from constipation. Later I noticed that my right testicle felt also sore (this felt somehow connected to the abdominal pain) and had swollen a bit and gotten harder. The right side of the scrotum also feels more "filled". The abdominal pain has now pretty much vanished, but the testicular symptoms are still here. It has been now 2 days with no indication that there is any change in the testicular symptoms. What's going on ?

Is there some kind of lump protruding in the area there that feels like you could push back in? It reminds me of inguinal hernia. Hernia is a protruding organ, usually a bowel, through the weak abdominal muscle wall. The scrotum may be affected as it may go down and cause symptoms similar to yours. Some hernias can be just pushed back in but would usually protrude again when laughing hard, coughing or sneezing but some hernias demand surgery, which is not that big of a deal.

Pain is very likely to occur with hernia. It is usually localized from the torn tissue or pinched nerves, etc. if things get complicated (and they might), you may suffer from more spread, generalized pain. Constipation may also appear with hernia. Urinary symptoms are also likely to occur.

I think that you should see a doc and have this checked. It may not be hernia but it would be wise if you had it checked. A doctor may recognize it just by touching and feeling the lump if there is one.
