I've had a
sore throat, hoarseness, chest congestion and lots of phlegm for the last month. After a week into the sore throat it hurt my ears when I swallowed (this lasted for maybe 2-3 days). When I coughed there was also blood in the loose phlegm. I went to a physician and she tested for strep, it came back negative, but she said my throat was really really red. She perscribed penicillian after about 2-3 days my mouth tongue broke out in sores, not sure if it was the penicillian, I stop taken it. It cleared up, but still when I brush my teeth, use toothpast or mouth wash or even eat something acidic my mouth breaks out and I have these tiny little red bumps on my tongue (like lie bumps...my
grandmother use to call it this when we were kids and told a lie). I am a singer and when I sing I get hoarse quick, I am still coughing up phlegm, if I sing too much it hurts. At night I wake up my throat is very very dry and it hurts. I don;t know if I've developed an allergic reaction or what. Could you assist with what's going on. Thanks
