Hello, I am 35 years old male. For past few days I feel sore on metus, penile opening. What can cause this soreness? I am sexually active, so I suspect on STDs, although I use protection, right? Any ideas or suggestions? Anyone else experienced something like this?

Well many things can be a reason for soreness on your metus. First of all is poor personal hygiene. If you don't wash under the foreskin, a cheesy substance called smegma accumulates which can cause infection and irritation. However, other things are possible also, such as balanitis, psoriasis, streptococcal bacteria that some woman passed you….Your best bet is to see a specialist and wash your penis thoroughly every day, especially if you are uncircumcised.
