Hi, I have extreme pain back, and I am considering a spinal cord stimulation. I heard that it’s one of the best techniques in treating of a chronic pain. Did anyone try a spinal cord stimulator?

Hi, I was using a spinal cord stimulation, and it relived my back pain. This technique has been used for thirty years, and it helped many people. I was under local anesthesia during the stimulating procedure. It is always easier to treat the pain if it is localized in the periphery. Spinal cord stimulators usually cause no damage. The risk is very low, and it occurs in 5% of the cases. Electrical stimulation is applied to the central nervous system in the spinal cord area, and that’s how it treats the pain. It is not used only for the spine, but for the both extremities too.
