if someone would be able to lend me some knowledgeable advice on this situation i would be very grateful. i have been on birth control since march and only ever had unprotected sex with one guy, and i am still with him. for awhile i would take the pill within the same few hours everyday. just recently i have started to take it with an alarm, so no more than a few minutes apart day to day. on the day my period came, i got my wisdom teeth out. as i recovered, my boyfriend and i had sex...about a week later i experienced spotting, but it seemed more like a light period. it lasted five days and i called the gynecologist and she asked if there was any chance of pregnancy and i said no, she said it was probably the anesthesia that knocked my cycle out of whack...i am still nervous because i suppose there is still that one per cent chance...but i am feeling no other symptoms of pregnancy, should i really be worrying?
