Hi there...
My husband and I are trying to get pregnant. My last period was December 2nd and we tried the 9th-18th. This past weekend I was feeling disappointed because I thought I felt my period coming on...crampy, tired, etc. However, the only thing that has occured over the past few days, is a couple of spots on a pad...literally no more than three "spots" since Saturday. When I wipe, there is absolutely nothing. My breasts have been very sore as well.
I took a HPT tonight but it was negative. Since I have never experienced this "spotting" before around my period, I'm wondering if I'm have the (rare, I know) implantation bleeding, and if so perhaps I should wait and test again? What do you think?

hey there,
I am a mom of 2 and by what you are saying. light spotting, tender breast there is a chance that you are pregnant. light spotting can be normal. it's due to the egg implanting itself in the linging of the uterus. my advice for you would to go get it checked. or simply get one of those over the counter test. by now they should work... if it was negative ealier it might have been to early. those test need a certain amount of hormones to work. hope all works out well for you and your husband. |
