Spotting but still getting my period

Hi, I am 25 years old and since I have had my period I never experience spotting with my period. This all started Nov 2006 I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend so the first thing I assumed was that I may be pregnant, so I tested first after three weeks then again at four but both were negative. Then I tested once more at seven weeks and that was negative. So now I am really concerned at first I spotted for almost a week before I had what seemed to be my period which was heavier than normal. Then I decided to wait and see what happened the following month and the same thing happend but this time with sharp ab pains. I am going to see my gono but I am waiting for my appointment this week, but now after only two weeks since I bleed last I'm spotting again but this time with sharp upper ab pains that stop me from sleeping or stops me from doing whatever I am doing at the time they come on. During this whole ordeal I haven't felt pregnant at all no sickness, dizziness, not feeling tired at all or sore breast all the thing I felt a year prior with my daughter,so someone please help me!!!!!
