Hi, I have been on birth control (Alesse) for 5 years and recently decided to stop it... I have had my first period after stopping the pill a week late and it has heavy just like how it was before is started the pills.

Now i am due for my 2nd period cycle. I'm already a week and a half late and i've been having light bleeding instead of my periods for the last 4 days now (I'm not sure if its my period or if its spotting)

Is that a sign of pregancy? Or is this normal since it take a while to get my system back to normal after stopping the birth control?
