| I am currently (and have been for over 6 years) taking birth control pills. I have been spotting brown/pink for 12 days now during the last portion of my pills. I am waiting to begin my period, although I'm not sure I'll get a normal one with all the bleeding I've already had. I had this problem about a year ago, although I did not spot as long. The answer given then was a cyst on my ovary. I went to the doc a day after the spotting for an annual pap and all results, including a UA, came back normal. I was told to dismiss this spotting as it is nothing to be concerned about. However, I am concerned. Reasons such as infections and growths were eliminated through the lab work. Any insight to why this is happening would be greatly appreciated. |
