St. John's Wort & Propranolol Interactions?

Some of my friends are using St. Johns Wort for depression, as alternative kind of cure. I would like to start using it by myself, but I am not sure is it safe. I am still using Propranolol, so I am interested; are there some kind of interactions between St. Johns Wort and Propranolol?

Personally, I had no experience with those two medications, so I not able to give you that kind of information. I can tell you only this: I am totally against any kind of use of medications without doctors orders. Why dont you ask your doctor about this? Since you are using Propranalol, you must have some heart condition. If that is the case, you must be sure that St. Johns Wort wont make you problems with your heart.
