Stabbing Pain, Burning, Throbbing Pain in Uretha! Anyone use Tea Tree Oil?

I have been having urethra pain since October. I was seen by my family doctor 5 times. I was checked for UTI, Vaginal Infections, and STDs. I had none. He is now going to send me to Urologist, which I will be seeing next week. I have been having stabbing and stricking pain in my uretha. I was experience burning when I urinate and after. It will almost feel as if I have to urinate again. At times my urethra will become itchy too. I tried Tea Tree Oil however I put it on tissue and let it soak on my uretha. I felt like that burned during and after I did that!! Did anyone else feel as if the Tea Tree Oil burns?? I am taking Cranberry Juice, Cranberry Pills, and also D-Mannose which all help a little. My pain will come and go it's not always constant. Anybody have any advice??

You should never use essential oils internally like that, unless told to do so by a health care professional. Any oil can be irritating up in the groin area, and I don't think a health care professional would advise that. I suggest that you don't do it again.

I am experiencing the same urethral spasm. My husband is a Ob- Gyn. In his 30 years of practice he has never had other women complain of this problem. I have the problem primarily at night. Heat from a heating pad seems to help. A hot bath really seems to be soothing. When it occurs during the day, as long as I stay busy, it will eventually go away.

My daughter has been having these pains for months. She has been on 8 antibiotics. She has been to emergency, a gyno, a urologist and a gastro.

She woke we up with her screaming in the night as she was in pain. She said it feels like she is being stabbed with a knife. She is almost 19 years old. Nobody can find out what is wrong. I thought maybe it was a yeast infection from all the antibiotics. The have done the ultra sounds, scopes, every test you can think of. When she describes the pain to the Drs they just say huh. That doesn't make sense because your urine test show there is no urinary tract infection. No yeast infection.

I am feeling so bad for her. She actually puts ice on it to try and numb the pain but nothing helps. She does have a laporoscopy coming up. Going to rule out endometriosis. She is in college and has missed more class dealing with this. I just can't believe there is not a Dr out there they can solve this mystery. Please help. I can't stand to see her suffer like this.
