Yes, stage 4 of fibrosis is called cirrhosis. When fibrosis has progressed to the point where the internal structure of the liver has become abnormal, fibrosis has progressed to cirrhosis. Cirrhosis is the result of long term liver damage caused by chronic inflammation and liver cell death and it is accompanied by a reduction in blood supply to the liver. But I have a good new for you; cirrhosis progression can usually be slowed or even stopped with treatment.
