Started birth control stopped after one week because of pro

I am 33 yrs old, dr. just put me on Estrostep started taking the pill on 2/4/2007 it was the Sunday after my period started (started on Saturday 2/3/2007). I had a very heavy period for 7 days, I stopped taking the BC pill on 8th day s I only took 7 pills and are still bleeding medium to light today (has been 13 days) I have never had this problem before on BC pills. Any advice? I have a call in to my Dr. office.

You may not have had that problem then, BUT it is normal to have breakthrough bleeding and spotting during the first few months of birth control usage.

That may be something you have to get used to :/
