Started pack too early

I have the normal 28 day pack of pills and ususally don't take the week 4 pills at all. I usually proceed taking my new pack a week after. However this time around I started taking my new pack too early. I started them when I should have been taking my white(spacer) pills. Well it is week 2 and I am either spotting or have started my cycle. Is this normal, and what should I do from this point on?

That is normal, that is what happens to most women the first time they skip 'period week inactive pills'.

You should keep taking your pills until the next period, you will most likely bleed and spot the entire time. You will also bleed through your period week too, which is normal. Start your NEXT pack on time, this should clear up the bleeding.
