i had sex for the first time yesterday i bled a lil, well today (the next day) later that afternoon i have started my period.. is this a sign that i could be pregnant?

No, it's not. It's normal to bleed after you have sex for the first time because you probably broke your hymen (piece of skin covering the vagina...) or it might have just been rough. Getting your period afterwards is probably just coincidence. Also, getting your period means you AREN'T pregnant. Because you can't get your period once you're pregnant.

But- since sperm can live inside you for up to a week its technically "possible" for you to become pregnant if you didn't use protection.
