This message board has really been so helpful to me during this whole nightmare. I'm on Day 17 and this is my first day back at work. Still a little pain when swallowing and my voice isn't quite back to normal yet. I thought I was much better a few days ago...tried to go out for dinner on New Year's Eve...then slept for 2 days straight. I'm amazed by how little energy I have.
I finally feel like I'll make it through this whole process. Good luck to everyone who is dealing with a tonsillectomy right now. Let the people around you help as much as they can...I would not have made it through this without my incredible mother and boyfriend.
