I recently had HPV and although it has been treated I know that there's always a chance it could come back. I am only 22 but I know that want to have babies some day. I‘ve heard that HPV can affect fertility and I am terrified that I won't be able to have babies when the time comes. Can HPV cause sterility? Does anyone know anyone that become sterile because of HPV?
The HPV or genital warts are external (out of uterus) thing. Am I right? Therefore I don’t think that it can cause sterility. I had PID which can leave you sterile but I had an operation to check and apparently I've got no carrying. You have to be careful with your health, especially reproductive system. You have to have regular exams with gynecologist it is extremely important, especially if you are sexually active. One of my friends took some pills for pain and she didn’t check with her doctor previously and now she is on the treatment because she became sterile. Well, she will have kids only if the treatment shows as efficient.
