i had an medical abortion Jan. 9, 2008. And a took a prenancy test twice and it come up positive. Not only not my period haven't come on yet. Is that normal? And i have a ultasound twice and nothing came up.

Sometimes it can take AWHILE for those pregnancy hormones to go down.

Usually they are gone by 6 weeks.

You said your ultrasound was clear, right? Then you should be A-OKAY.

It can take as long as eight weeks for you to have your period. The clinic you had the abortion at should have scheduled you a two week follow-up, after the procedure, to make sure everything was alright. If you are feeling a little unsure you should go have a blood pregnency test that why you will know for sure.
