Stomach ache from Motrin

My son is suffering from juvenile arthritis. He takes Motrin as a doctor prescribed. But recently, he started to feel sicker then he was. His arthritis is OK now, but his stomach is not. He often complains about stomach ache, gas and constipation. Are these stomach problems from Motrin? Should I stop with giving him Motrin?

There is a possibility that Motrin is causing stomachaches and other problems to your son. But since none of us is doctor we can not be sure about that. Maybe you should take your son to his doctor and ask him/her. It is not smart to start or stop using any medication by yourself. Especially it is not smart to do such thing with kids. Ask your doctor for advice before you do such thing.
