I've been experienced muscle spasms in my stomach and pelvic area. Sometimes I feel it on the sides too and around my belly button. There are typical spasms you could get in your leg or arm and such. It feels like the muscle moves really fast. Please let me know if anyone of you experienced this before!

Actually the muscles can go into spasm anywhere in your body. The muscles around your belly button and in your belly are called the restus abdominus. Probably you have strained stretched, then it is possible for them to go into spasm anywhere in your body.

hi there. i'm a 16 year old girl, and sometimes when i go to bed, ( sometimes this wakes me up ) my stomach twitches around my lower abdomen. Also, it feels like somethin is movin around in there. Its uncomfortable, but it doesnt hurt, its just like a harsh tickle or pressure point. Can someone tell me if thats normal? i dont have a big parasite in there, do i??? Sad

I have these very light spasms in my upper ab just an inch below my rib cage. Afterwards (10 minutes or less), I burp some acid (acid reflux). Does anyone have similar symptoms.

Oh my gosh!!! I thought I was going crazy too! First I felt like this movement in my lower left side of my stomache. then it went away but now it's like under my belly button!! I don't know what it is. And I don't want to know what it is (but really I do!), I just want it to stop. I'm afraid it's a parasite or something. It doesn't hurt. It's more like a fluttering. But it's been pretty consistent for like 3 days now and I can't think of anything else besides what I'm feeling in there. What the heck is it?!? And why is this happening? I've also been really gassy. P.U.

I have cancer and I have just started getting these stomach spasms about two weeks ago. They are just like charlie horses in your legs and are very painful. I have been trough 8 rounds of Chemo and I just figured it was
"something else to deal with". But my doctor said it could be low magnesium. She put me on magnesium pills and the pains are gone within two days. I hope this helps
