I have the exact problem many described above. I have had this fluttering in the pelvic area for a few weeks now. Seems to have become a bit more intense in the last few days (i.e. fluttering, spasms occur more frequently). I have also had problems sleeping. It occurs quite low in the pelvic area (below the belly button), and no pain is associated with this at all (except that it is becoming quite annoying). I have no other effects to speak of...
Does anyone have some sort of explanation for this? Have folks who wrote at the beginning gotten rid of the problem? Any news would be appreciated. |

I am having this issue too! It started last night, and i feel it more when im sitting. if im standing i dont feel anything. But its a fluttering at that fine line of abdomen/pelvis area. Sometimes it stops for a few hours, and then sometimes it goes again. It's never consistant though, sometimes will happen like 3 times in a minute and then sometimes just here or there every few minutes.
I'm not pregnant, i JUST had my period and finished 3 days ago, ive never missed a period, and im on BC (and ive heard you don't feel fluttering when pregnant til a few weeks in anyway).
Should i be alarmed? Should i go to the doctor? Anyone had it just go away? |

hello all. i have the same symptoms but it starts just above my belly button and flutters up behind my ribcage and ends in my lower esophagus. it makes me wana cry, it is so terrifying. i can't do anything but stand there gasping for air parying for it to stop. i always take my pulse while it's happening so to make sure its not my heart. and usually my pulse doesn't change aside from speeding up.
I have also hurt my back somehow and its really painful and the chiropractor
says it will be quite some time before i see relief from my back problems. ( me thinks he likes getting my money)
i have had a lot of chest pain along side all this. i have gone to the ER on 2 occasions ( total cost: 4500$) only to have them tell me i am completely fine ( money well spent) finally my D.r. sent me to have a gastro-intestinal series done. they found a small Duadinal Ulcer and that i have a Hiatal Hurnia. that is when your esophagus brakes loose from your diophram and slides freely up and down the hole left there. to fix it i need surgery. between the back problems and the hernia i have begun to have panic attacks when it gets to be to much. so now i am taking a lot of Xanex.
i sympathize with all of you. I'm still not satisfied with the answer that it is just my haiatal hurnia causing my flutters, 'cause it does not make sense that it should start in my belly and end in my lower throat. but hey, you are just a paycheck to a D.r and the more you have to go back the more money they make. i used to trust them, but now it seems like care is getting worse. they don't even listen to me when i go in.
i realize that my symptoms are not exactly the same as most of yours but perhaps we should keep this thread going as some sort of support group.
and maybe ( though i can see why people might object, plus it might be against the forum rules) but maybe we should say where we are all living and were living when this all started for us. this might help identify some sort of localisation of these weird effects that we are all experiencing, some environmental cause?
anyway this all started for me in Seattle Wa, and now i live in Medford Or.
cheers |

I'm having the same thing as a few of you on the first two pages describe.
A flutter sensation, two days now, on the left side just below my ribcage.
I'm on a period now, so hopefully I'm not pregnant, but actually have had several in the last few months, because I just came off of a depposhot in July as a contraceptive.
It's really freaking me out. I'm guessing this is what it would feel like if I was pregnant, but it's in the wrong spot for it to be, as it's very high in my abdomen/low in my chest area.
Anyone know exactly what the hell it could be? I'm 25, slightly overweight. No ulcers, acid reflux, etc at all previously, not getting any heart burn. Just the annoyingness of the fluttering through out the day. |

| I have the same issue. Thought I got rid of it once I did a 2 month cleanse with Colonix. No movement for about a month after that. I'm about to do another 30 day cleanse to see if I can get rid of it. This time I will try to maintain with probiotics and/or digestive enzymes. We can't all be crazy. Feels just like a baby in there... I have 3 children and this one reminds me of carrying my very active son years ago. I'll let you guys know what happens.. |

I only really feel it when im laying down and right after i eat, it literally feels like something is moving around in my stomach....if i put my hand on it sometimes i can even feel it. I thought I was pregnant so I got a clinical pregnancy test and it was negative. I really dont know what to do.....im glad im not the only one feeling this way i guess? |

| Guest wrote: | | it seems nobody has teh answer for our query, i have been asking that to every1, doc doesn't knwo whats goign on, and it does feel like i have sumthing moving around in there, and its really mind boggling, and it cud drive a person to insanity, but i keeep myself in-tact by believeing in God and knowing that i'm not the only person goign thru this, but it all seemed to start after i had sex with this one chick, and it seems liek she transfered sumthing inside me, yes, it sounds crazy, but when she was on top trying to stick it in, when she came down i felt a warm flowing feeling around the pelvic area, then she constantly got up to go "pee" but it sounded like a supersoaker was shooting in the toilet, and when i went in to see what she was "peeing" out it was crystal clear..... i dont know if she had sumthign to do with wuts going on, but it seems most likely, and like sumthing no1 ever heard of b-4 but i know after that day i wasn't the same |
my male friend had the same problem after having unprotected sex with his girlfriend but the otherway around after having sex with his girlfriend he constantly had to use the bathroom and went to the doctor to check it out he ended up needing pills because some women just have bacteria in them that some guys are more "sensitive" to. its similar to the bacteria some women are born with that can lead to them having problems later in life with having children which is also cured with pills. so if you and your girlfriend havent done anything yet i'd suggest going to see you doctor and describing the symptoms.
as for the stomach spasms i have been getting them for two days now (hence why i was even on this page in the first place) and have no idea about that either.. |
