Strange Bowel Movements after Imodium?

Hello. I have been to my sisters birthday party. There was a lot of food and as usual, I could not resist, so I ate a lot. Unfortunately, next day I got a high temperature and stomach pain. Stools became soft, and some time later, diarrhea came. I took Imodium and felt some strange bowel movement. Is that normal?

Medications like Imodium come from a group of anti diarrheic drugs. It is opioid in nature and is used for stopping hyper peristaltic movements, no matter what the cause is. So, those bowel movements could be because of some bacterial infection (and that fastens the intestine motions). I do not think this drug has anything to do this, except preventing it.
