| I'm 17 years old and am not sexually active nor have I ever been. But lately I've been having this Strange Vaginal Discharge that is somewhat clear and mixed with a little blood. I assumed it was my period, and just a weird period. But I'm also discharging this dark brown slick gooey substance. My vulva is a little red also. I haven't had any burning sensations when urinating. I just really want to know what may be wrong with me before I go to a doctor. I haven't ever gone to a gynecologist before so if I can treat whatever I have with an over the counter medication I'll do that. But if I can't I would really like to be informed that I should. |

Hi there,
The best thing to do is see a clinic or doctor. Is your period around the same time as this occurence it could just be a period. Or is there a smell etc... If it isn't around the time of your period, it could be some form of infection easily helped by medication from a doctor. |

| its odd but i have the same thing.. i get it all the time though not just during my period i really want to know what it is and ive been getting it more lately to the point where when i wake up my underware is very wet... im too embaressed to go to a doctor... do you know what it is? |

Hey, I have that, too, but I can't go see my Doctor, I'm WAY too afraid she'll tell my mom(even if it IS against the law).....did ya ever find out what it is?
Ps: I'm 17 also but I'm sexually active. |

| The same thing is happening to me! I'm not sexually active and I'm seventeen! I'm also too embarassed to go to a doctor... Any thoughts on what it might be? |

| You should never be afraid to go the the Doctor. Have you ever considered Planned Parenhood? They are STRICTLY CONFIDENTIAL and under no circumstances can they repeat anything to any one. |

i had a yeast infection n didnt go for any doctor
i got my own medication from the pharmacy n i inserted the medicine into my vaginal
after 1day, i stopped using it because it sorta made me sick.
now, i found out dat i had brownish discharge n slimy red stuff from my vaginal, wat could it be?
i had sex wif my boyfriend, but it couldn't be STD coz we both are virgins.
Pls let me know coz i'm worried! and i don't want to go to any doctor |
