I noticed that two days after my menstrual that I suddenly developed some red bumps on the outside of my vaginal area. They never appeared there before. I also have them near my anus. But, the strange thing is that they are only on my left side of my vaginal area and anus. What could this be? I'm not sure but they do burn alittle and itch. Please is there someone else that is having this problem?

This is defiantely not the sign for herpes, it might just be sweet glands reaction. some people tend to sweat down in that area more and it can become irritated from subcutaneous glands. Your best bet is to see a obgyn but in the meantime you can try to make sure that area stays dry if you sweat alot and try to wear cotton undies and use those over the counter vaginal powder so you can stay dry.
