Strange object came out of my mouth

Whilst at work today i felt something strange at the front of the back of my throat so i suched with my tonge and the object felt very close so i put my fingers in and pulled out a small elasticband like substance approximately 6mm long. What is it?

omg, the exact same thing happened to me just now.
i felt something just at the front of my throat at the back of my mouth
so i coughed it up and i could feel a little round blob in my mouth so i pulled i t out.
ergh, it wasnt very big but it felt disgusting and smelt like, internal body substances. disgusting, im really worried and now i have a weird pain in my finger. it hurts whenever i lightly touch something, it feels like a needle in my finger but i see nothing on the skin of my finger. there are no cuts, lumps, bruises, swellings, anything. its just little shoots of pain every time i brush against something with my finger, and when im typing now.

i know thats really strange
but do you think the two things could be linked!?
