yes! i had almost the same experience.
I eat fish very often, almost everyday and nothing happened.
And I had butterfish last night.
Until today, all that came out was OIL. it was just oil, nothing else.
it came along with fart. and the color was light brown/ orange.
and it smells really bad.
It's like one spoon of oil whenever I go to the toilet.
Will have to see the doc if it doesnt stop tomorrow!

|
|
| White tuna or escelar, live very deep and feed on many things that are white. White tuna must be frozen before it is served as sushi -15 for 30 days or -30 for 7 basically. If you get especially fatty meat it is very good, but it will affect you faster. just and fyi |

|

| I had this problem a few days ago . . . was actually googling it just now . . . but I noticed that most of the replies here were people who have eaten fish, but I don't eat fish, it makes me nauseous. It's just not part of my diet. It was gone today, but today I had very bad watery diarrhea that seemed to last forever, and was just this like thick layer on the water of the toilet (sorry for the image). |

| I recently went to my doctor and was told that my triglycerides had shot up in the passed year and that I need to watch it. She suggested to take a prescribed fish oil pill (4 a day) and now , day 4 of the medication, I woke up and found oil stain on my sheets and I just went to the bathroom and a yellow-orange liquid was mixed in with my stool. Very uncomfortable. It is 9:00 in the morning and I feel disgusting. |

Since I ate a grilled escolar the other day, I have been having the same symptom. At first I couldn't figure out why but I found this link. It says it all for me.

I am grateful to have found this site. I also found this very orange oil in my underwear today and some of it dripping off as I was on the loo. quite scary actually. I had quite a lot of fish 2 days ago and I am quite convinced now that is the culprit. hope it stops soon though because although it does not exactly stink, I can't stand the funny smell.
Thanks to all who have contributed so far. I live in Ghana where the fish I had is called 'groupa' - I wonder if its the same as sea bass or escolar or white tuna? |

Okay so I read a lot of the posts after having two days of the same symptoms... including farting and having orange-green oil come out, and finally having oil droplets only when trying to use the toilet. It was oil (and not blood) because oil does not mix with water - the droplets stayed as droplets and did not mix into the water (like blood will) for any of you worried that it might be blood.
I also ate white fish (not sure what the label was) these past two days. I am almost certain that this is indeed the cause of these unwanted bodily expulsions.
This site really helped !
I thought I might have liver problems, but I lead a very healthy life and get checked regularly by the doctor. And I don't drink a lot. Well, except for that one time... |
