For about 2 weeks now, I've had a strange feeling of "fullness" above my left ear, almost as if there's something in there exerting pressure outward. Except for one time when it escalated into a very painful headache (the worst I've had in 7 years--I remember because that one sent me to the hospital), it's been more of a nuisance than a genuine pain. Has anyone experienced something similar? I've done some web searches & haven't come across anything that sounds like what I'm experiencing...

Hi,
I am going through similar symptoms from past 18 days. it was told as mere stress and possibly inner ear infection at first no medication given so far. after reading your post i wanted to check my doctor to get some tests done.
Have you found any solution for that problem?
Hey, I was wondering if you ever found out what was causing your symptoms. I've been having this awful pressure just above my right ear which has been getting worse and worse. I even snuck in to have a CT scan (work in a hospital) which didn't show a thing other than a sinus infection. I'm still scared to death what in the world it could be going on!

just new to forum and spotted this.
I also get pain just above ear when mobiles in use near me. Feels like pressure and sometimes like it's gonna burst sensation.
Try switching off your mobile - avoid high signal areas & 3G Masts, WIFI etc. - I am a campaigner and sufferer of mobiles - have been researching for 2 years and these signals are causing a lot of trouble with people's central nervous systems, brains, ears etc. Please if you try this let me know how you are
