Strange rush on my face called rosecea

I’m 45 year old women. All my life I have always cared about my skin so I have never really had any problems with it.
I used several crèmes and lotions to keep my skin wet and well moistured.
Recently I started to get some rush on my nose. I thought it was some sun allergy and for a while I avoid being in direct sunlight but that didn’t helped.
Not even that it didn’t help but since than things only get worse. I got rush all over my face and my forehead. I become really frightened because it looked kind a scary. One friend of mine told me that this could be some condition called rosecea. Is this some serious?

You don’t have to worry at all because I was diagnosed with rosacea a year ago and now-I don’t have any symptoms to remain me about that period.
Rosacea is a chronic (long-term) disease that affects the skin and sometimes the eyes. You are lucky because you suffer from mild symptoms, because it can be accompanied with redness, pimples and bumps all around your face.
Rosacea is a chronic condition whose cause and cure is still unknown.
There are some theories that suggest that it has something with
Blood vessels under the skin of the face may dilate (enlarge), showing through the skin as small red lines. This condition is called teleangiectasia.
Although there is no cure for rosacea, it can be treated and controlled but progress of treatment is very slow.
Dermatologists often prescribe Tetracycline to help symptoms look less visible.
