Streess and late periods-related?

I had my last period two months ago. I am not sexually active, so I can’t be pregnant. However, this worries me a lot. I don’t feel well. I had many stressful situations in past 2 months so I think that could be a reason. Are stress and late periods related somehow?

I’ m a week late on my period, but I’ve been really stressed out about school just started. So I think if your stressed out that can cause your period to stop. I’m a virgin, only 16 years old. I’ve been doing some research and stuff and its telling me that’s its very rare that this sort of thing will happen... So now my problem is like trying to relax.
